【Description】NosiPlus 20 is almost white to light yellowish-brown powder, which contains 20g Nosiheptide per kg.
【Pharmacological Action】
Nosiheptide is a sulfur-containing cyclic polypeptide, highly active against gram-positive bacteria and few gram-negative bacteria, especially Clostridium perfringens and Staphylococcus aureus. Nosiheptide acts bacteriostatically in low dose and bactericidally in high dose. The biochemical basis for the antibacterial action is inhibition of protein synthesis. It has no cross-resistance with other antibiotics and difficult to occur bacterial resistance; it will be little absorbed by digestive tract, so no residue in animal tissues. It is compatible with common feed additive as well as with medicinal products applied in feed.
【Indication】Prevent and treat necrotic enteritis.
